Picked the van up a couple of hours ago, thats was fun. Walking round Calne in the dark is never great, especially with cash in your bag.
Everything went OK though, I have MoT certificates, receipts, etc.
The best bit? Realising you have absolutely no idea how to turn the headlights on. I'm not sure I didn't drive home with full beams on!
So the rest of the week, or the weekend is going to be cleaning and tidying, all the fun stuff, and adding on the classic camper air freshener Laura and mark bought us a while ago. Thanks!
Anyway, there's another 5 photos of the outside of the van in my Flickr album here.
Any name suggestions?!
I did think that Jason would be a good name. It is after all a Transporter. If that's too obvious you could stick with the Jason theme and call him Voorhees.
ReplyDeleteThough this may be tempting fate if you ever stop off near a lake.
;-)
Well done guys! Living the dream!
ReplyDeleteThe Vanilla Choc Ice?
Good motors though, a couple of people at college have em and they're sound (just for gods sake don't try and change the wheel bearings by yourself!)
Rich and Lou xx
I feel a posh name would be funnt because of the irony of calling a white van Tarquin ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha I love Tarquin! Though I feel the need for tweed curtains, and leather wing panels...
ReplyDeleteLiving the dream indeed, cant wait to get away somewhere in it now!
Hypostronoph - don't ask, but it used to be owned by a well travelled and well loved VW camper owned by some friends...
ReplyDeleteThat is a cool name, where did it come from?!?
